The President of the AACARI Youth Division, Ms. Amanda Thomas from Grenada, along with Mr. Errington Thompson, President of AACARI from the Bahamas, attended the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) regional conference for Latin America and the Caribbean in Santiago, Chile, during February 28-29, 2024.
The opportunity was used by the FAO to obtain feedback from farmers and fisherfolks on how they could assist them through their governments with funding and the possibility of making the production of their products easier.
